MEET DEAN
DIRECTOR & POOL PARTY ENGINEER
Dean’s been around pools since finishing high school, which, according to him, wasn’t that long ago.
He started out in pool servicing before moving into the construction side of the industry. A two-year stint in Canada with Danie added hot tubs (and surviving Canadian winters) to his repertoire, before they returned home and Synergy continued to grow.
Dean is big on precision, doing things properly and finding a solution when something doesn’t quite go to plan. He keeps the worksite collaborative, enjoys a bit of banter and is always up for a chat, sometimes a long one.
When he’s not building pools or juggling life with three kids, you’ll usually find him hunting, fishing or getting out on the boat.
Pools are the profession. Being on the water is apparently a hobby too.
Meet DANIE
MARKETING & OPERATIONS MANAGER AKA WAREHOUSE WARDEN
Danie is the process behind the scenes at Synergy — keeping everything moving, organised and looking good along the way.
From photoshoots and marketing to client selections, systems and the day-to-day operations of the business, she’s usually juggling several things at once, often with three kids in tow and a cold coffee in hand.
As the self-appointed Warehouse Warden, Danie likes things organised, has an eye for the details and is usually the one asking, “But does it look good?”
When she’s not at Synergy, you’ll find her in the garden, somewhere along the beach, or enjoying a well-earned glass of wine with friends.
Keeping Synergy organised is the job. Keeping Dean organised is the challenge.
