If you’re building a new home, ideally before construction begins. A concrete pool can impact the positioning of the house, site levels, access, engineering and excavation. By involving Synergy early, we can work alongside your builder, architect and engineer to ensure the pool is considered as part of the overall design rather than added as an afterthought. Already living in your home? No problem, we regularly build new pools for established homes and renovate existing pools. We’ll assess access, levels, services and surrounding structures, and plan the build to keep disruption to your home and yard to a minimum.

Every project is different, but on average a build takes around 2 to 6 months once construction begins. The overall timeframe depends on the design, site conditions, engineering, council approvals, access and your chosen finishes and equipment. A straightforward project can move relatively quickly, while highly detailed architectural pools or premium finishes may require additional time. We provide a clear project timeline before construction begins and keep you informed throughout the build.
-
Yes. In many cases, the pool shell is constructed before the house foundations are completed. We coordinate with your builder and other trades to determine the right sequence for excavation, structural works and access. Synergy can then return at the appropriate stage to complete tiling, finishes, equipment and commissioning.
-
Yes. Synergy coordinates the required engineering and council documentation as part of the pool process. We work with our preferred engineers and consultants to ensure the project meets the relevant structural and regulatory requirements.
-
Concrete pools offer almost limitless possibilities when it comes to finishes. Depending on the design, you can select from premium glass mosaics, porcelain or natural stone tiles, feature finishes such as Jewels 4 Pools, coping options and a wide range of interior colours and textures. We help you select finishes that complement both the architecture and the surrounding landscape.
-
There is no one-size-fits-all price. Our Signature Series is our more budget-friendly range, with pools starting from $60,000 (excluding GST). For custom designs, the cost is influenced by the size and complexity of the pool, excavation, access, structural requirements, finishes, equipment, landscaping integration and additional features such as heating, automation, lighting, water features or spas. We provide a detailed quotation based on your specific project.
-
Absolutely. Concrete construction allows us to create pools around the architecture and landscape rather than working within the limitations of a standard shape. From clean geometric designs and infinity edges to integrated spas, beach entries, unusual dimensions and architectural features, we work with your vision to create a pool that is genuinely tailored to the site.
-
Restricted access doesn’t necessarily prevent a concrete pool from being built, we can even build through a standard 700mm doorway. We assess access, excavation requirements and site conditions during the planning stage and determine the most appropriate construction method and equipment. Tight-access jobs have a significant impact on cost, so in these situations we recommend keeping the pool on the smaller side. Difficult sites may require additional planning, specialised equipment or alternative excavation methods, which we will discuss with you upfront.
-
Every pool is different, so we select equipment to suit its size, design and how you plan to use it. This can include filtration, pumps, heating, sanitisation, automation, lighting and energy-efficient equipment. Our goal is to create a system that is reliable, efficient and simple to operate. We work from our own list of trusted suppliers, which we review and update based on industry trends, warranty conditions and product quality.
-
Yes. We offer technical servicing for your pool equipment and systems, but we do not provide general pool cleaning. For regular cleaning and maintenance, we work with a number of trusted pool care professionals who we can recommend. Once your pool is complete, we also provide a thorough handover, taking you through the pool equipment, systems and operation of your new pool. We’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you’re confident using and caring for your pool from day one.
-
Absolutely. We regularly work alongside architects, builders, landscape designers and other trades to ensure the pool integrates seamlessly with the broader project. Early collaboration allows us to coordinate levels, structures, access, finishes and services so the finished pool feels like an intentional part of the architecture, not something added afterwards.
